Arthur Ford Death – The individual who lost their life in a collision that took place in South Fairmount late Saturday night has been identified by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office as 43-year-old Arthur Ford. The incident, which involved two vehicles, occurred at the intersection of Harrison and Queen City Avenues at approximately 11 p.m.
According to Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge, a 24-year-old was driving a 2019 Honda Civic northwest on Harrison Avenue when a 2016 Toyota Scion traveling southbound collided with the Honda.
The driver of the Toyota fled the scene on foot, Chief Theetge reported. The passenger of the Toyota was transported to UC Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries, Chief Theetge stated. It remains uncertain whether seatbelts were in use during the accident.
Authorities are currently investigating the role of speed and impairment in the collision.
