Ashley Ballard, Harry Mendoza Death, Authorities reported that three individuals lost their lives in separate shootings in Manhattan and Brooklyn within a span of 20 minutes. The first incident occurred near East 128th Street and Lexington Avenue in East Harlem, where an 18-year-old woman, Ashley Ballard, was shot in the head and back, along with a 25-year-old man, Harry Mendoza, who was shot in the head. Ballard was pronounced dead approximately 40 minutes later, while Mendoza, initially in critical condition, later succumbed to his injuries.
Shortly after the Manhattan shooting, police responded to a call on East 37th Street in East Flatbush, where they discovered 17-year-old Bryan Henriquez shot in the neck and torso. Henriquez was pronounced dead at a hospital. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to either case.
