Ashley Calo Obituary – Two individuals have been taken into custody by Fond du Lac police in connection with the suspicious death of a woman from West Bend. The deceased has been identified as Ashley Calo, a 33-year-old. She was discovered by the police in a crashed car near North Main and Follett in downtown Fond du Lac on Tuesday. Fortunately, a three-year-old child found in the passenger seat was unharmed.
The circumstances surrounding Calo’s death have raised suspicions. According to Fond du Lac police, her death is linked to another incident that occurred just yards away from a strip mall. A man who worked in the area shared photographs he had taken, which depicted police evidence markers near a weapon and a pool of blood, around the same time as the car crash.
Thanks to the assistance of individuals in the community via social media, the police were able to apprehend a 20-year-old woman who is considered a person of interest in the death investigation. Additionally, a 21-year-old man is in custody for harboring a felon.
