Bertha Yanez-Martinez, Eduardo Rojas, Death – Two people killed in a collision in Huntington Park were identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded to the intersection of Randolph Place and Maywood Avenue around 8:45 p.m. Friday following a report of a collision involving a trapped individual, according to a department spokesman.
Paramedics took two critically injured victims to a hospital. Another victim was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. It’s unclear what may have led up to the collision.
According to the medical examiner’s, office 51-year-old Bertha Yanez-Martinez and 29-year-old Eduardo Rojas were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their places of residence were not disclosed.
