Brian Moore Obituary – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a fatal crash involving two vehicles that took place earlier today in Camden. The incident resulted in the death of one individual. At around 5:00 a.m. on June 26, 2024, a 2009 Cadillac Escalade was traveling eastbound on Walnut Shade Road, near Barney Jenkins Road. Simultaneously, a 2016 Honda Accord was heading westbound on Walnut Shade Road, approaching the Cadillac. The Cadillac veered out of its lane and crossed the centerline, colliding with the front of the Honda in the westbound lane.
The driver of the Honda, identified as 31-year-old Brian Moore from Magnolia, Delaware, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been notified of the tragic incident.
The driver of the Cadillac, an 18-year-old man from Bear, Delaware, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance. The passenger of the Cadillac, a 19-year-old woman from Harrington, Delaware, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital.
The roadway was closed for approximately 3 hours while authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is actively investigating the crash.
