Christopher DaSilva Death – Police have reported that a motorcyclist was killed in a collision with another vehicle in Hayward on Monday evening. The incident occurred near Jackson and Grand streets shortly after 6 p.m. The motorcyclist, identified as 31-year-old Christopher DaSilva from San Leandro, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Alameda County coroner’s bureau.
Fortunately, the driver of the other vehicle, a 55-year-old man, did not sustain any injuries. The Hayward police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the crash, which marks the second fatal collision in Hayward this year.
