Demetrius Creek Obituary – Law enforcement authorities are currently investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the tragic death of a 19-year-old individual in Southeast. On Saturday evening, the D.C. police received a report of a shooting in the 1400 block of Howard Road shortly after 9:30 p.m. Upon their arrival at the scene, evidence of the shooting was discovered, although the victim was not initially located.
Subsequently, the Prince George’s County Police responded to a multi-vehicle collision in the 2400 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast. It was here that Demetrius Creek was found unconscious and unresponsive, having sustained a gunshot wound. It remains uncertain whether Creek was involved in the car accident or if he was the driver.
Tragically, medical personnel pronounced Creek deceased at the location. Law enforcement later confirmed that Creek was indeed the victim of the earlier shooting incident on Howard Road.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have pertinent information about the shooting to contact the police at 202-727-9099. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and subsequent conviction.
