The Prince George’s County police received a report of a shooting at around 2:15 a.m. at a residence on Old Indian Head Road. According to the witness, the victim was asleep in his bedroom when his nephew began creating a disturbance in the living room. An argument ensued between them, which escalated until James Ricardo Savoy retrieved a handgun.
Although James Ricardo Savoy has admitted to engaging in a confrontation with his uncle and subsequently fleeing, he denies being responsible for the shooting.
