Jackie Glynn Obituary – The search for a missing Nashville woman, Jackie Glynn, has tragically concluded after her lifeless body was discovered in Dekalb County on Friday, according to the police. A Silver Alert had been issued for the 76-year-old, who was last seen on January 1 at her residence on Abbott Martin Road. The Metro Nashville Police Department conducted a missing person investigation, which ultimately revealed that Glynn’s husband, Joseph Glynn, 70, was responsible for her demise.
Glynn’s remains were found buried on their property, with her vehicle located nearby. The police disclosed that Glynn’s husband confessed to striking her in the head with a hammer at their Nashville home on New Year’s Day. He then proceeded to transport her body to their property in Dekalb County the following day to bury her.
According to the authorities, Glynn informed his wife’s children that she had chosen to leave him due to a terminal illness. However, her medical provider confirmed that this was not true. The police noted inconsistencies in Glynn’s statements to the family. The children are cooperating with the police in order to ascertain the exact sequence of events. Glynn was apprehended on January 6 and is facing charges of criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and evidence tampering. He is currently in custody, with a bond set at $1,030,000.
