Jordan Belhumeur Death – The Edmonton police have identified an individual who was fatally shot in the northern part of the city earlier this week. On Monday, at approximately 3:30 a.m., law enforcement responded to reports of a weapons incident in the vicinity of 127th Avenue and 118th Street.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered a man in a residential area with severe injuries. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) provided initial treatment at the scene before transporting him to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified by police as Jordan Belhumeur, aged 37. Following an autopsy, it was determined that he died as a result of a gunshot wound, prompting authorities to classify his death as a homicide.
In a news release issued on Thursday afternoon, the Edmonton Police Service urged residents in the area to review any surveillance footage from their homes. They encouraged individuals who notice any suspicious activity to report it by contacting EPS at 780-423-4567 or dialing #377 from a mobile phone.
Additionally, the police emphasized the option for providing anonymous tips, which can be submitted to Crime Stoppers either by calling 1-800-222-8477 or by utilizing the online reporting platform.
