Kim Kardashian has an unbelievable announcement to make on the upcoming episode of “The Kardashians.” Ahead of Episode Eight being released on July 13, a clip from the new episode was shared on the show’s multiple social media accounts, teasing an unexpected crossover event involving “The Bachelorette.”
In the video, Kardashian, 42, gathers her family members to share news about the next step in her reality television career. An expert when it comes to setting the scene for a dramatic moment, Kardashian says, “I got to stand up for this one,” before addressing her family.
Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, gives her daughter a skeptical look as the mother of four explains that Rob Mills, a Walt Disney television executive, recently contacted her.
“You know these people, but they wanted to call me directly,” the entrepreneur tells her mom. “And then I was going to connect them with you once I decided if I was going to do it or not.”
The camera then pans to show that Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Travis Barker, Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are also in the room and look baffled. Kim Kardashian stops excitedly and says, “I’m going to do the bachelorette.”
Some family members are in disbelief and tell Kim to stop! She repeated her own announcement. “I’m very serious,” she says when her mother questions her.
Before Kim Kardashian can further explain his involvement in the show, Khloe Kardashian intervenes. “Kim, you’re not doing this 100 percent,” she says to her sister.
Kardashian Barker, who has been embroiled in a feud with Kim all season, joins the conversation. “I can’t believe I’m doing a bachelorette,” says Kardashian Barker.
As her family encourages Kris Jenner to call Mills and check the news, an interview with her matriarch shows her reaction to her daughter potentially taking over the reins of a romantic reality show, on camera. was caught by
“No, no, no,” Kris Jenner says to the camera.
The mother of her six children pretended to speak directly to Kim Kardashian, adding, “I’m your ‘mom’, your manager, your mother.” Give it a title. I wear whatever hat you want, but you don’t. ”
Fans had to watch the July 13th episode to know that Kim Kardashian was just joking. Throughout the scene, the prank goes further. In the scene, Kris Kardashian calls Mills, an executive in the writing department at Walt Disney.
Mills chimed in, telling Kris Jenner that she was “90 percent ahead” and gearing up for next season’s “Bachelorette,” starring her middle daughter. “I have to deal with this stuff because it’s not exactly the same room I saw Kim in? And she has four kids and a busy life,” she told Mills.
After Kris Jenner hung up with Mills, Kim Kardashian revealed it was all a joke.
“You’re kidding!” she laughs while her family groans. In a subsequent interview, Kris Jenner seemed to take it all in stride. “These kids love to play pranks,” she says with a smile. “And I’m always the victim of pranks!”
She also lamented, “I can’t believe this [mischief] will happen.” “It’s been years, Chris,” one of the producers tells her off-screen.
“I know,” Mama sighed.
Many fans speculated that this was all a joke even before the episode was released. One Twitter user wrote, “Everybody already knows this is just an ad (laughs).”
