Krystale Barnaby Obituary – The victim of a crash involving a pick-up truck that collided with a tree and caught fire has been identified by the Pelham Police. On Wednesday, Pelham police and fire responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash near 970 Mammoth Road. As emergency responders were en route to the scene at approximately 3:15 p.m., they were informed that the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and the driver was still inside.
Upon arrival, the police discovered a black 2010 Chevy Avalanche fully engulfed in flames. The truck had crashed head-on into a large tree off the side of the road. Pelham Fire arrived promptly and extinguished the fire.
The driver, identified as Krystale Barnaby, 36, from Pelham, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. According to the Pelham Police, the driver died instantly upon impact and was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The crash is currently being investigated by multiple agencies, including the Hudson Police Traffic Accident Reconstruction unit, the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s office, the NH State Medical Examiner’s office, and members of the Pelham Police Department.
