Laurie Humphrey Obituary, Death – At a nearby hospital on Thursday, August 4, 2016, Lori Humphrey, who was 52 years old and a resident of South Sioux City, Nebraska, was pronounced dead. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, where the funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Visitation will continue for one hour before the start of the services. Graceland Park Cemetery is going to be used for the interment.
Fort Madison, Iowa was the location of Lori’s birth on September 17, 1963. Her parents, Edmund and Delores (Spiekermeier) Fedler, are her parents. She spent her childhood in West Point, and in 1982 she received her high school diploma from Fort Madison High School. In West Point on October 1st, 1983, Lori and Brian Humphrey exchanged their vows and became husband and wife.
This union resulted in the birth of two children. Up until 1989, the couple called West Point, Nebraska, their home. In that year, they made the move to South Sioux City in Nebraska. MCI, First Financial Bank, and Dr. John’s were all places of employment for Lori. Lori was a highly unselfish person who frequently prioritized her loved ones and friends and served as a mother figure to a large number of children.
She was skilled in the kitchen and the bakery. Lori looked forward to spending her Sundays eating dinner with her family, going on motorcycle rides, and taking Ruby for a spin with her granddaughter Brooklyne. Her survivors include her husband, Brian Humphrey, of Sioux City; a son, Brandon (Amy) Humphrey, also of Sioux City; a daughter, Jacqueline (Brandon) Humphrey-Stowe, also of Sioux City; a granddaughter.
Brooklyne Humphrey; six brothers, Mark (Barb) Fedler of Danville, Iowa; Steve (Pam) Fedler of Des Moines, Iowa; John (Gin Her parents, a brother named Ted Fedler, a sister named Christine Olson, two brothers-in-law named Gerald Becker and Lee Hedger, as well as a nephew named Michael Hedger all passed away before she did.
