Meghan Moore, Sidney Capolino Obituary, Death – The victims of the murder-suicide in Miami, Florida, were identified by Miami-Dade police as Meghan Moore, 25, and Sidney Capolino, 23. New England College confirmed that the two were former students. The tragic incident occurred on Saturday at 8:53 p.m. at the apartment building where Moore and Capolino resided.
Moore was found outside the apartment, and shortly after, another gunshot was heard from inside, leading to the evacuation of the building. Upon entering the apartment, a SWAT team discovered two more individuals who had been fatally shot, identified as Capolino and Luis Napoles. Police revealed that Napoles, 40, was in a relationship with Moore, and Capolino was her roommate.
Napoles died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear. Moore hailed from Centerville, Massachusetts, while Capolino was from Pawling, New York, as indicated in their student-athlete biographies on the New England College website. Both were members of the women’s ice hockey team. The community expressed shock and sadness over the tragic event.
