Meribeth Gandy Pezda Obituary – Police have identified the 55-year-old woman who was killed in a crash near Ann Arbor on Monday. Meribeth Gandy Pezda, 55, was killed in a crash just before 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 13 when she and a 39-year-old Shelby Township man lost control of their vehicles and collided while driving east on Dexter-Ann Arbor Road near Zeeb Road in Scio Township, according to Washtenaw County Sheriff spokesperson Derrick Jackson.
Pezda ran a private practice as a clinical social worker based in Dexter, according to a LinkedIn and Psychology Today profile by the same name. A 70-year-old Ann Arbor man heading west at the time was also involved and injured in the crash.
Police have not released any updated information about the crash investigation or anything about the current conditions of the 39-year-old or 70-year-old.
