Perry Cobb, Vendora Cobb Obituary – The Statesboro Herald has identified an elderly couple from Georgia as the casualties of a collision that occurred in Statesboro on Monday. Perry Cobb, aged 90, and his wife, Vendora Cobb, aged 86, tragically lost their lives when their truck veered off the road, collided with a culvert, and somersaulted multiple times, ultimately ejecting them from the vehicle. The Georgia State Patrol reported that the incident took place at approximately 11:25 a.m. on U.S. 25 in Statesboro.
According to troopers, the couple was not wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident and both succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Bulloch County Coroner Richard Pylant informed the Statesboro Herald that he suspects Perry Cobb experienced a medical emergency while driving, leading to the loss of control. Statesboro is situated approximately 215 miles southeast of metro Atlanta.
