Renee Bigelow, Kimberly Stevens Obituary – Three individuals who were tragically killed in a shooting incident inside an apartment building in Northeast Washington have been identified by the D.C. police. The victims have been named as Renee Bigelow, aged 58, who had no fixed address; Kimberly Stevens, aged 40, from Northeast; and Leon Harper, aged 59, also from Northeast.
Although the police have released the names of the victims, the family of Renee Bigelow has expressed that they are not yet prepared to discuss the matter publicly. Efforts to contact the relatives of Kimberly Stevens and Leon Harper have not yielded immediate success.
The shooting took place shortly before 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday in the 5000 block of Jay Street NE. Upon receiving a report of an unconscious individual, the police arrived at the scene to discover the lifeless bodies of the two women and one man, all of whom had sustained gunshot wounds, inside an apartment.
According to the police report, two of the victims were found in the living room, while the other was discovered in the bedroom.
As of Friday afternoon, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
