Ruben Alarcon, Andrea Alarcon Obituary, Death – A local funeral home in Union is seeking donations to assist with the burial expenses of a family of four who tragically lost their lives in a murder-suicide. Ruben Alarcon, 51, Andrea Alarcon, 42, and their two daughters, Scarlett, 9, and Emma, 6, were found deceased in their home on Lincrest Terrace. The Union County Sheriff’s Department discovered this on Wednesday morning. All four individuals had suffered gunshot wounds, and the murder weapon was found near Andrea Alarcon’s body.
Union Funeral Home – Lytwyn & Grillo aims to raise $25,000 to support the Alarcon family in covering the costs of the funeral and cemetery arrangements. As of Saturday morning, over $6,000 had already been donated to the cause. A funeral mass for the Alarcon family will take place on Wednesday at St. Michael’s Church, followed by a private visitation and burial. The motive behind this tragic incident is still under investigation, and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office has not yet provided any comments. It has been revealed that the family’s home was in the process of foreclosure, with the property being sold in a sheriff’s sale. The house was subsequently purchased by a local nonprofit organization that focuses on providing therapy for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
