Shelby Opalka Obituary, Death – Today, our hearts are heavy with grief as we come together to remember the bright and beautiful soul of Shelby Opalka, a beloved member of the Fort Johnson, New York community. Shelby was not only a dedicated employee of Midland Barrels for many years, but she was also an integral part of our Midland family.
Her journey with us began when she and her sister, Joslyn, attended our very first event. After that, they became more than just attendees; they became pillars of support for our organization. Whether it was setting barrels or running our food stand, Shelby and Joslyn were always there with a helping hand and warm smiles. The recent accident that took Shelby from us was a devastating blow to our Midland family. While we grieve the loss of Shelby, we also acknowledge the bravery of her sister, Joslyn, who was involved in the same accident but is expected to make a full recovery.
In this time of profound sadness, our hearts go out to Joslyn and the entire Opalka family. Losing a loved one is an incredibly challenging experience, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Opalka family as they navigate through this unimaginable tragedy. In times like these, it’s vital to offer emotional support, lend a helping hand, and be there for whatever the family needs.
To assist the Opalka family during this difficult period, we have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral and memorial expenses. We kindly request that you consider donating to this cause. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping the Opalka family cope with their loss.
Though Shelby may no longer be with us in body, her spirit lives on in the memories and hearts of all those fortunate enough to have known her. She was a remarkable individual with a heart of gold, and her legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear Shelby.
