Tedra Dail Death – The deceased woman discovered along the side of the road in the Rochester area early Tuesday morning has been positively identified as 28-year-old Tedra Dail by the Lewis County Coroner’s Office. In a news release on Thursday, the Lewis County Coroner’s Office mentioned that the cause and manner of death are pending toxicology, further studies, and investigation. The release also indicated that Dail was transient at the time of her passing.
Emergency personnel and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 900 block of Garrard Creek Road between Oakville and Rochester around 4:40 a.m. on April 2 following a report of an unresponsive female discovered by a passerby near the roadway. Medical personnel confirmed the woman’s death upon arrival and handed over the scene to law enforcement.
During the initial investigation on Tuesday morning, a section of Garrard Creek Road was closed for several hours by the sheriff’s office. The sheriff’s office mentioned that the case is still active, and due to the ongoing investigation, no additional details are available at this time.
