Thaddeus Nutt Death – The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office has reported that a shooting incident in Coventry Township resulted in the death of a 26-year-old man. On Thursday night, at approximately 9 p.m., law enforcement officials and emergency medical services were dispatched to Ostend Avenue following reports of an armed individual and a shooting.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered Thaddeus Nutt, a resident of Coventry Township, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and had been involved in a vehicle collision. Nutt was swiftly transported by the Coventry Fire Department to Cleveland Clinic Akron General, where he was pronounced deceased at 9:38 p.m. The Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the presence of the alleged shooter at the scene.
Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office have determined that an altercation between Nutt and another male escalated into the shooting, resulting in Nutt crashing his vehicle. Both law enforcement agencies are currently conducting an investigation into this tragic homicide.
