Timothy Kerkhof Death – A serious motorcycle crash in rural Jackson County on Monday is currently under investigation by the Indiana State Police (ISP). The victim, identified as 40-year-old Timothy Kerkhof from Seymour, Indiana, tragically lost his life in the incident. Riding his silver 2004 chopper motorcycle, Kerkhof was traveling south on County Road 700 East, just north of Seymour.
According to ISP Trooper Seth Davidson, Kerkhof lost control of his motorcycle while attempting to navigate a sharp curve while turning onto County Road 725 North at approximately 3:45 p.m. As a result, Kerkhof was thrown off the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries. The Jackson County Coroner’s Office pronounced him dead at the scene. The ISP Crash Reconstructionist has been called in to assist with the ongoing investigation.
