Yanaisa Pulido Obituary – An EMT who tragically lost her life while assisting victims of a collision on Interstate 95 in Broward County has been identified as Yanaisa Pulido, according to her family members who created a GoFundMe page. Yanaisa, a 23-year-old woman, completed the Hialeah Fire Cadet program in 2019 and was employed as an EMT in Miami-Dade while pursuing her education.
Described as a hero with a strong desire to help others, Yanaisa aspired to be a first responder and save lives. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday when a car lost control and was hit by another vehicle in the southbound lanes of I-95. Yanaisa, who was on her way home after a shift, stopped to provide aid but was tragically struck by two cars that collided with one of the vehicles involved in the initial crash. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision involved a total of six vehicles, and three other individuals, including a 7-year-old boy, were hospitalized. The conditions of the injured parties are currently unknown, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
