Aishwarya Deshmane Obituary, Death – The woman who lost her life in a crash in Washtenaw County has been identified by the police. Aishwarya Deshmane, 29 years old, from Ann Arbor, was killed in the accident that occurred at the intersection of Packard Road and Carpenter Road in Pittsfield Township on Monday, March 5 at around 8 p.m.
The spokesperson for the Pittsfield Township Police Department, Patrick Gray, confirmed the tragic incident. Initially, the police did not release any information about Deshmane’s identity, age, or place of residence as they were in the process of notifying her family. Deshmane had recently relocated to Ann Arbor from New Jersey and was employed at Modali Consulting, according to Brandon Chiazza, the co-founder of the company.
Chiazza also mentioned that Deshmane had studied under him at Yeshiva University in New York. Deshmane had obtained a masters degree in data analytics and visualization from the university in December. Her LinkedIn profile, under the same name, confirmed her employment as a data analytics consultant at Modali Consulting. The crash also resulted in injuries to two other individuals. A 35-year-old man from Ann Arbor was critically injured and taken to the hospital, while a 22-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The police have not provided any updates on their conditions. Deshmane was a passenger in a Scion TC driven by the 35-year-old man.
The collision occurred when the driver attempted to make a left turn from westbound Packard Road onto southbound Carpenter Road and was struck by a Ford Escape traveling east on Packard Road. The Ford Escape was driven by the 22-year-old man from Ypsilanti. The area where the accident took place was closed from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Monday, as stated by the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office on social media.
