He was born on January 18, 1941, to Joseph and Louise Catherine (Tork) Nocktonick in Holton, where he would spend his entire life, leaving an indelible mark on the town and its people.
Albert’s journey through life was marked by dedication, service, and a commitment to his community. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1959, laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth. His pursuit of knowledge led him to Washburn University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. This educational achievement would serve as a testament to his determination and passion for justice.
Throughout his working years, Albert made meaningful contributions to his community. He dedicated his time and efforts to the Prairie Band Casino, where he worked in the Environmental Services Department. His work ethic and commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on his colleagues and the casino’s patrons. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Albert proudly served his country in the United States Navy, embodying the spirit of patriotism and selflessness.
He was also a member of the Citizens Potawatomi Nation of Oklahoma, connecting with his heritage and heritage of Native American culture.
