Breanna Parham, Rhiana Ramey Obituary – On Monday, a tragic two-vehicle crash occurred in Elbert County, resulting in the loss of two lives and critical injuries to two children. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Georgia Highway 72 near the intersection of Jones Ferry Road, located a few miles west of Elberton. The deceased have been identified as Breanna D. Parham, 33, and her 16-year-old daughter, Rhiana J. Ramey, both residents of Elberton, according to Elbert County Coroner Chuck Almond.
The Georgia State Patrol reported that the crash involved a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado traveling north on Highway 72, which crossed the centerline, rotated counterclockwise and was struck on the side by a 2012 Ford F-150 traveling south on the same highway. Tragically, Parham and her daughter were in the Silverado and lost their lives at the scene.
The patrol further revealed that a 6-year-old child and a 2-week-old infant who were also in the Silverado sustained life-threatening injuries and were airlifted to Greenville Memorial Highway. Additionally, a 4-year-old child in the Silverado and two occupants of the Ford pickup were transported to Elberton Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. To investigate the crash, the patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team was dispatched to the scene.
