Chad Terry Death – A Lewisburg man, aged 36, tragically lost his life on Tuesday afternoon in Union County when a vehicle swerved off Colonel John Kelly Road and collided with a parked vehicle, according to state police at Milton. The victim, Chad Terry, was ejected from the parked vehicle involved in the accident and was pronounced dead at the crash site. The incident occurred at 4:24 p.m. on Colonel John Kelly Road, just east of Hospital Drive in Kelly Township.
State police at Milton reported that Andrew J. Terry, a 34-year-old from Lewisburg, was traveling west on Colonel John Kelly Road when he lost control of his vehicle. The 2000 Dodge pickup truck veered off the road and struck the parked vehicle, which was situated along the south side of the road in the driveway of Stoltzfus Grain.
As a result of the collision, the parked vehicle, occupied by Marc B. Terry, 65, of Lewisburg, and Chad E. Terry, overturned. Fortunately, Andrew Terry and his passenger, Kristopher J. Huber, 33, of Bloomsburg, escaped without injuries, according to the police.
Marc Terry, who was in the driver’s seat of the parked vehicle, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted by a medical helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, as stated by the police.
