Desirae Lussow Death – A man from New Mexico has been taken into custody on a murder charge following allegations that he shot and killed a woman while they were inside a vehicle. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, April 3. The woman, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the head, was transported to a hospital for treatment. An investigation conducted by the Rio Rancho police revealed that the shooting occurred as a result of a domestic argument that took place during the drive.
Tragically, the woman, identified as Desirae Lussow from Ribera, succumbed to her injuries at the Sandoval Regional Medical Center. Notably, she was transported to the hospital in the same vehicle where the shooting occurred, leading to a lockdown being implemented at the emergency room.
Lussow was accompanied by her three children and Pablo Padilla, the man who has been arrested for the murder. The police investigation further revealed that Padilla had used an AR-15 rifle, which he had grabbed from near the driver’s seat. He has since been booked into the Sandoval County Detention Center.
In addition to the murder charge, Padilla is also facing charges of reckless driving and possession of a controlled substance. The duration of the lockdown at the medical center remains unknown.
