Freddy Juarez, Daniela Teran Death – The lives of two teenagers were tragically lost in a collision that occurred in Toombs County. The incident, involving a Ford truck and a Chevrolet car, took place at the intersection of Highway 130 E and Old Normantown Road on Friday morning at 9 a.m. The driver of the truck, Freddy Juarez, 40, from Jacksonville, Fla., failed to stop at the intersection, resulting in the collision.
The passengers in the truck, Daniela Teran, 17, and Sebastian Juarez, 17, lost their lives in the crash. Five other individuals in the truck sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital, with one of them being airlifted to Savannah. The driver of the Chevrolet, Robert Yepe, 45, from Lyons, also suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The Toombs County Sheriff’s Office has requested thoughts and prayers for all the families affected by this tragic event. The Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
