Jackson Romanello Obituary, Death – The man who died in a weekend homicide has been identified as 18-year-old Jackson Romanello, according to a Fort Pierce Police spokesperson. Police responded to a shooting incident at the area of North 23rd Street and Avenue C around midnight on Saturday, as reported by the authorities.
Romanello, a resident of Fort Pierce, was discovered with a single gunshot wound while seated in the driver’s seat of a maroon vehicle, based on details provided by police spokesperson April Lee and a police report. Emergency responders from St. Lucie County Fire District pronounced Romanello deceased at 12:20 a.m. on Saturday, according to the report.
Lee mentioned that the fatal shooting of Romanello does not seem to be connected to another fatal shooting that occurred later on Saturday at Maravilla Park/Dog Park at Oleander Boulevard and Roselyn Avenue, located west of U.S. 1 and south of Virginia Avenue. Authorities arrived at the latter scene around 6:48 p.m. and confirmed the death of a 24-year-old man. The police did not release his identity to the public.
