Jarron Chapman Death – The man who was shot and killed while leaving a courthouse in Waterbury on Thursday morning has been identified by the police. Jarron Chapman, a 26-year-old resident of Waterbury, was leaving Waterbury Superior Court after a court proceeding when the incident occurred at approximately 11:42 a.m. According to the authorities, Chapman was in critical condition when he was transported from the scene to a hospital, but unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries.
The individual responsible for the shooting managed to flee the scene before the arrival of the police. Chapman’s attorney, Ioannis Kaloidis of Kaloidis Law Firm, stated that he was present in the courthouse for another case when his client was shot. Kaloidis mentioned that he had just interacted with Chapman moments before the incident, discussing a new court date and bidding farewell until their next meeting. In response to the shooting, a marshal swiftly took action, instructing everyone to remain inside the courthouse premises.
