Kelby Hall Obituary – The Janesville man who was fatally struck by a vehicle on Saturday has been identified by the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office. Kelby Hall, 34, succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident, according to officials who made the announcement on Tuesday.
The forensic examination conducted by the agency was completed on Monday, and further testing is currently underway. The Janesville Police Department had previously reported that the vehicle involved was traveling westbound on Milwaukee St., approaching the Five Points intersection, when the man unexpectedly ran into the roadway and collided with it.
Promptly, the Janesville Fire Department transported the man to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle, a 23-year-old, initially fled the scene but was subsequently located by officers. Presently, the driver is in custody at the Rock County Jail and is facing charges of knowingly operating without a valid driver’s license causing death and hit and run-causing death.
