Kiersten Hansen Obituary – The woman who was allegedly shot and killed by a man she had a child with has been officially identified by the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Department. The victim has been named as Kiersten Hansen, a 22-year-old resident of Janesville. Her lifeless body was discovered on April 17 in the vicinity of the 1400 block of Afton Road. The initial findings from the autopsy have confirmed that Hansen’s cause of death was a result of firearm-related trauma, indicating a homicide.
The suspect in this case, Logan Barclay, a 23-year-old resident of Janesville, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide for causing Hansen’s death. Investigators believe that Barclay committed this heinous act due to Hansen being pregnant with his child once again.
Barclay appeared in court on Monday, where he was given a $1 million cash bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
