Neal Vaughan Obituary – The driver believed to be responsible for the death of a 66-year-old man has been apprehended by deputies. According to the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office, Angelo Rios was taken into custody after methamphetamine and amphetamines were discovered in his bloodstream following a fatal accident on I-64.
Rios was operating a 2001 Ford Explorer when he veered off the road, collided with an embankment, and subsequently rolled multiple times. Tragically, the victim, Neal Vaughan, was ejected from the SUV and lost his life.
Angelo Rios, hailing from Evansville, has been arrested and is now incarcerated, facing charges of Operating While Intoxicated Resulting in Death, a Level 4 Felony, as well as Operating While Intoxicated- Endangerment, a Class A Misdemeanor.
