Skylar Alice Marie Jones, Gaige Marshall Dehaven Death – The deaths of two children in their Cecil County home are currently under investigation by the Maryland State Police, as stated in a news release. Upon receiving a call from a 12-year-old, officers from the Perryville Police Department and state troopers from the North East Barrack promptly arrived at the residence on Cole Street in Perryville.
The 12-year-old informed the authorities that her siblings were experiencing an unknown medical condition, and later revealed that she had discovered them unconscious on the bedroom floor upon returning home. Unfortunately, both siblings, Skylar Alice Marie Jones, 14, and Gaige Marshall Dehaven, 10, were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
Despite autopsies being conducted, the cause and manner of death could not be determined. The investigation is ongoing, with the toxicology report results still pending. Additionally, drug paraphernalia was discovered in the home, leading to the issuance of a search and seizure warrant for the residence.
