Terrelle L. Tucker, Death – The driver who died in the Parkrose Neighborhood crash Friday is identified as Terrelle L. Tucker, 39, of Portland. His family has been notified of his death. He was the only occupant of the involved vehicle.
The vehicle, a white 2011 Buick Lacrosse, was traveling at a high rate of speed on Northeast Sandy Boulevard. The vehicle struck the raised center median, lost control, and crashed through a power pole, a bus stop, and 2 trees. This became a complicated scene to address due to the upper half of the power pole being suspended by the attached wires with other wires breaking and falling to the ground. Pacific Power responded to make sure none of the wires was dangerous prior to the investigation beginning. The Oregon Department of Transportation also assisted with cleanup and traffic control.
The collaboration and communication between the different entities was critical to the safe response and investigation. PPB is grateful for the assistance of PF&R, ODOT, Pacific Power, and 21st Century Towing.
