Tori L. Demo Obituary, Death – A fatal collision occurred on Saturday morning on Interstate 70, resulting in the death of a woman. Tori L. Demo, aged 25, tragically lost her life when her Toyota Camry was rear-ended by a Dodge Ram pickup truck. The Westmoreland County coroner, Tim Carson, confirmed that Demo was pronounced dead at the scene.
Photographs taken by a Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 photographer captured the aftermath of the incident, showing a severely damaged silver sedan being towed away. The vehicle exhibited significant signs of burning, as did the Crawford Lane Bridge located above the crash site. The Dodge Ram involved in the collision was also removed from the scene.
Rostraver firefighters reported that Interstate 70 was temporarily closed in both directions near mile marker 45. However, PennDOT has since announced that both lanes have been reopened.
Coroner Carson stated that Demo was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident. The exact cause and manner of her death are still under investigation.
Motorists traveling through the area should anticipate some residual delays, as advised by PennDOT.
