Angus Carlson Death – The Knox County Sheriff’s deputies have identified the individuals involved in an ATV accident that occurred during the weekend. One individual passed away, and another sustained serious injuries, as reported by the deputies. On Tuesday, Coroner Mark Thomas authorized the disclosure of the names of the deceased and the seriously injured individuals from the ATV accident that took place on Saturday night.
Angus Carlson, aged 25, from rural Altona, lost his life due to injuries sustained in the accident, according to Coroner Thomas. Additionally, Logan Meier, aged 19, from Cambridge, was injured in the crash.
The incident occurred on Knox County Rd in Knox County, specifically in the 2800 block, just before 11 p.m. on Saturday night, as stated by the deputies. The ATV collided with an embankment.
The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 25-year-old from Altona passed away in the accident, while a 19-year-old from Cambridge suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to OSF Peoria.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
