Bishop Davis Death – Buddy Bryan, the Muscogee County Coroner, has reported that a man passed away after drowning in the Chattahoochee River on Saturday evening.
Emergency crews from Columbus Fire & EMS Station 1 swiftly arrived at the location, situated between 13th Street and Dillingham Street. Under the guidance of John Shull, the Division Chief of Columbus Fire Marshall, the dive and water rescue team diligently carried out an operation to retrieve the victim.
Bryan mentioned that there were at least three individuals involved in the incident, with two of them successfully rescued from the river, presumably in a stable condition.
Later on, the Muscogee County Coroner’s Office disclosed the identity of the deceased as Bishop Davis, a 28-year-old resident of Dallas, Georgia.
