Christian Loredo Obituary – The man who was shot and killed during a car club meeting in East Austin on Saturday has been identified by the police. The incident took place on Saturday, February 3, at approximately 6:25 p.m. in the Fiesta parking lot at 3909 North IH 35 northbound. Upon their arrival, officers from the Austin Police Department discovered 20-year-old Christian Loredo inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Austin-Travis County EMS arrived at the scene and attempted CPR, but unfortunately, Loredo was pronounced dead at 6:40 p.m. during the preliminary investigation. According to the initial findings, Loredo was attending the car club meeting when a verbal dispute broke out between him and a group of individuals in another vehicle. The situation escalated when someone from the group shot Loredo and immediately fled the scene.
