Dereck Gesin Death – A man from Corry has passed away as a result of a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday in Warren County, as per the Pennsylvania State Police. The incident took place in the 3800 block of Tidioute Creek Rd. in Triumph Township at approximately 5:21 a.m.
The driver, Dereck Gesin, 27, was traveling eastbound in a GM Arcadia SUV when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a slight right-hand curve, leading to the vehicle sliding.
Subsequently, the SUV collided with an embankment, causing it to overturn and roll multiple times, as stated by investigators. Gesin was thrown out of the sunroof, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office, according to state police.
It was revealed that he was not wearing a seatbelt, and the crash was influenced by DUI, as reported by troopers.
