Frederick Morse Obituary – A man in Normal who passed away on Tuesday due to the cold weather has been identified by authorities. According to McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder, Frederick Morse, aged 59 and a resident of Normal, was pronounced dead on Tuesday afternoon. The initial findings from the autopsy suggest that he died from hypothermia after sustaining a head injury from a fall. Further toxicology testing is still pending.
Earlier, the Normal police had reported that officers were called to the 100 block of West Shelbourne Drive on Tuesday afternoon regarding a motionless man near a tree.
The incident is currently being investigated by both the coroner’s office and the Normal Police Department.
