Harold Nibert, Bradley Thivener Death – During a press conference, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Kalee Barnhart stated that officers were called to a “multi-vehicle crash” on Route 40 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, near Wharton Township. The incident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. local time on Tuesday. Upon arrival, officers discovered that three cars, including a large commercial truck, were involved in the collision. CBS News obtained photos of the crash, which depicted a black Honda vehicle severely damaged next to a barrier.
Additionally, a red minivan and a tractor-trailer were observed stationary on the road. Tragically, five individuals, including an infant, lost their lives in the accident. All of the deceased were occupants of a single car. Two passengers in another vehicle sustained minor injuries, while the operator of the commercial truck was unharmed and received medical evaluation at the scene. A local resident described the location of the incident as a dangerous road.
