Harry Keels Death – The lifeless body of a man who had been reported missing several months ago was discovered last week inside a garbage bin, just a short distance away from where he was last seen in Southeast, according to the D.C. police. The victim, identified as 42-year-old Harry Keels from Southwest, was confirmed to have been murdered, as stated in a press release by the police.
The grim discovery was made on Wednesday morning when officers were investigating reports of human remains in the 1400 block of Canal Street Southwest. The body was subsequently taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy revealed that Keels had died from a gunshot wound.
This tragic incident occurred months after Keels was reported missing, with his last sighting being on November 3 in the 1500 block of Second Street SE near Nationals Park, a mere 300 feet away from where his remains were ultimately found.
