Manuel Woods Death – The family of Manuel Woods, the Ross County man who went missing two weeks ago, has provided a potential explanation for his passing while the community raises concerns about the search operations carried out by local authorities. Woods, who was last seen leaving a residence on Stoney Creek Road south of Chillicothe with his dog Milo, disappeared while exploring Scioto Trails State Park. Despite extensive searches of the park’s rough terrain, very few clues were found. A breakthrough occurred when Milo was discovered wandering near Airport Road.
Yesterday, a family member confirmed on social media that Woods’ remains had been found. Today, the family issued a statement suggesting that a heart attack might have been the cause of death. The statement mentioned, “They suspect that he suffered a heart attack from the strenuous climbing on the steep hills.”
Nevertheless, the search efforts conducted by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office have faced criticism from some members of the community. Numerous residents have expressed frustration on social media platforms, questioning the promptness of a comprehensive search for Woods.
As of now, the Sheriff’s Office has not released any official statements regarding the search or the cause of death.
The family has established a GoFundMe page to assist with covering funeral costs.
