Monterious Crowe Obituary – A 12-year-old boy’s lifeless body was discovered in an alley after being struck by a car, as reported by the Indianapolis police. Both the authorities and the family are now actively searching for the driver who callously abandoned him at the scene. On April 26, at approximately 9:20 a.m., the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department promptly responded to a distress call regarding an individual lying in an alley.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a young boy in the middle of the road, exhibiting injuries consistent with a traumatic incident, as stated in a press release by the police. The child, now identified as Monterious Crowe, was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he was tragically pronounced dead. The Marion County Coroner’s Office confirmed that his injuries were indeed indicative of a vehicular collision, according to the police.
Shockingly, Crowe’s family was not informed of his untimely demise until April 28, as reported by WISH. The boy had no identification on him and was admitted to the hospital under the name John Doe. His family suspects that he may have been fleeing from someone at the time of the incident, as stated by WISH and WTHR.
Zakiya Cole Morris, Crowe’s aunt, expressed her anguish, stating, “Whoever you are… running him over and leaving his lifeless body in an alley… you will be held accountable by God.” The police have assured that the investigation is ongoing and urge anyone with information to contact the IMPD at 317-327-6549 or email Detective Eric Snow at Eric.Snow@indy.gov.
