Rowan George, Aaron George Obituary – The Alameda County coroner has officially identified three of the four members of the Pleasanton family who tragically lost their lives in a fiery solo vehicle collision with a tree last Wednesday night. The father, Tarun Cherukara George, aged 41, and his two sons, Rowan George, 13, and Aaron George, 9, were confirmed as the victims by the coroner’s bureau on Monday.
The identity of the fourth victim is yet to be positively confirmed by the coroner’s bureau, but Pleasanton police had previously announced that the mother was among those who perished in the accident. The fatal crash occurred around 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening on Foothill Road, between Stoneridge Drive and W. Las Positas Boulevard, on the western outskirts of the city.
The vehicle, an electric car manufactured by Vietnamese company VinFast, lost control, collided with a large oak tree, and subsequently caught fire. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, with speed being considered as a potential contributing factor. Despite efforts to assist one of the children, all four individuals tragically passed away at the scene.
Both children were students in the Pleasanton Unified School District, one in middle school and the other in elementary. The local community has been deeply affected by this devastating event, with a vigil held on Sunday to honor the family’s memory at the crash site.
